MERN Tech Support & Student Mentor
I joined GUVI as a Tech Support Intern in the MERN stack, where I had the opportunity to help students learn and grow while also contributing to building innovative applications. This experience taught me the importance of clear communication, patience, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
My role evolved from tech support to student mentor, where I maintained an average feedback rating of 4.5/5 from students, demonstrating my effectiveness in helping them understand and apply MERN stack concepts.
SQL Kata - Innovative Learning Platform
Project Overview
SQL Kata is an innovative learning platform that I helped build during my time at GUVI. The application allows students to practice SQL queries in a hands-on, interactive environment.
SQLite WebAssembly Integration
Integrated SQLite WebAssembly to run SQL code directly on the user's browser. This innovative approach eliminates the need for multiple API calls and provides instant feedback to students.
Client-Side Validation
Implemented client-side code compilation and validation before sending data to the backend. This optimization significantly reduced server load and improved response times.
UI/UX Collaboration
Collaborated closely with Figma designers to ensure the UI was implemented exactly as designed. This attention to detail resulted in a polished, professional-looking application that students enjoyed using.
