Architecting a Next-Generation Multi-Tenant CMS
I spent 11+ months at Daply, a US-based startup, where I had the opportunity to architect and build most of the platform from the ground up. This was one of my most challenging and rewarding experiences, as I was responsible for designing a scalable, multi-tenant Content Management System that could handle complex requirements.
The platform allows users to add multiple members, publish websites from prebuilt templates, create and schedule content with AI assistance, and manage everything from a single dashboard.
Key Achievements & Responsibilities
Multi-Tenant CMS Architecture
Architected a comprehensive multi-tenant Content Management System where users can add multiple members to their workspace and publish websites using prebuilt templates. The system supports complete isolation between tenants while sharing infrastructure efficiently.
Video Processing & Transcoding
Implemented a complete video uploading and processing system that converts videos to m3u8 format for efficient streaming. Built the transcoding pipeline using Node.js to handle video processing asynchronously.
Performance Optimization
Optimized the Node.js backend to achieve response times of 200-500ms for most API calls. Implemented caching strategies, database query optimization, and efficient data structures.

Knowledge Transfer & Handover
Before leaving the project, I conducted comprehensive knowledge transfer sessions totaling over 2+ hours with both new developers and existing team members. I ensured that:

- Code structure and patterns were documented
- All team members understood the system architecture
- Smooth transition for ongoing development
